Yeah, I guess I’m still being pretty damn lazy about posting. I’ve just been pretty swamped with stuff. OK, that’s another lie. Honestly, I’ve just been tired and haven’t gotten around to posting anything. Some recent news is that we’ve pretty much narrowed down our wedding photographer search to Grabari Studios and Edward Fox Photography. Both are family owned joints with years of experience behind them. Each has their good points and bad, so it’s just picking which good points we like better than others right now. Whichever studio we choose, we want to know by the end of April. Also, we’ve decided to look for a place to own. The realtor we will probably work with is Tony Saviano. He seems like a nice, honest guy, and he’s been in the realty business for more than twenty-five years. Plus, Chris’ dad knows him from the HECC. It’s really not a bad bit of networking. The last bit of news is that I just bought ask-mark.com through Register.com. The DNS entries still need to propagate and I’ve only got an under construction home page up right now, so you won’t see much for a while. I may try my hand at Apache, MySQL, and PHP to serve up my own blog. Mostly, though, I’m going to use the site as a personal portal of sorts. Visitors will be able to ask me stupid questions, but they won’t get lightning quick responses like Ask Jeeves or anything. I sort of want the site to be the beginnings of a more professional computer consulting business I’d do in addition to my duties at PHS.
