Registered at Sears

I almost forgot to post about this. Chris and I went to Sears on Saturday and started our bridal registry. If you check the length of our two registries, you will find that the Bed Bath and Beyond registry is far longer than the Sears registry. Oh, we also so Tomb Raider 2 this weekend. It was pretty good, and it had more of a plot than the first one. Anyways, time for work.

I’ve made a slight server configuration change. This will allow you to visit the forum by simply appending "/forum" at the end of the web address.

Minor Myers, Jr. dies

I received word earlier that the Minor Myers, Jr., President of my alma mater Illinois Wesleyan University, died this morning. "Myers…informed the Illinois Wesleyan community in February that he had been diagnosed with lung cancer."

New forums

The forums have finally been created. All you need to do is go here and register for an account. Now there’s more to do online here than just read my stupid rants.

Amazon.com Wish List

Under the advisement of a co-worker, I am posting a link to my Amazon.com Wish List. I’m a big geek, so a lot of what’s there is geeky stuff.

Sunday

We started off Sunday cleaning the apartment. Our friends were stopping by later tonight, and we were just getting sick of the sad state of the apartment. After a few hours of cleaning, we got ready and headed out. First stop was Chris’s parents’ house to drop off a comforter for Tim; he needs it when he goes to ISU in the fall. After our short visit at the Butzen house, we stopped by my mom’s house. Yesterday I bought a set of supersonic pest repellent devices at Bed Bath and Beyond. I wanted to test them out in the sunroom to see if it would eliminate the ants. To my surprise, I found piles of wood dust under the hot tub where the ants were crawling. I think they might be termites and not ants, but I don’t know jack about bugs. I suggested that my mom call an exterminator to get rid of them. We left my mom’s and went to Jewel to do some last minute grocery shopping before everyone came over to watch Banzai. We had Jewel’s rotisserie chickens, rosemary mashed potatoes, and a salad for dinner.  Then we watched Banzai, where Chris and I subsequently ended up with $4 less than what we started with (mind that dangling preposition). I just finished my second drawing for Chris’s The Odyssey web-based game. And I just finished this post, so I’m going to sleep.

ask-mark.com up

Well, ask-mark.com is up now with some sort of layout and content. It’s not quite dynamic just yet, so bear with the very static content. I have to see about bringing my past posts on blogdot over to the new site. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
