The barbecue was a good time (for most, if not all). Chris and I received compliments on the food. We served food that Brad had told us that he likes, and well, he liked it. As the night went on, more visitors came, including Chris (another one) and Grant, whom we see on few occasions nowadays. It was very good seeing them. We closed the night with a long game of Trivial Pursuit. Why do we do this to ourselves? The last several games of Pursuit we’ve played ended up in long, drawn out conclusions due to a seemingly endless chase for that last piece or for the right question in the center hub. Tonight was just the same. As Chris retired to the bedroom early into the game, Jenny was moved from the couch squad to my team. Jenny and I eventually won, even though our last move and question were basically gimmes in order to end the game. Well, I’m off to bed because I’m tired.
