Surprise, surprise! We had yet Another Power Outage tonight This time, we were just watching television before going to the HEHS Madrigal Dinner, and then all of a sudden the power goes out. My first instinct is to just sit and wait, of course, hoping the power will return right away. It didn’t. So, next stop was the front door to see if the entryway lights were out. If they were, then it wasn’t just our apartment that tripped circuit breakers. What do you know, but the power is out in the hallway, too. As I stand in the doorway, I hear a loud buzzing noise. It happened to coincide with the door lamp on the apartment building across the street being lit. When the lamp would flicker, so would the sound, until both died. Luckily for them, it was just a short while. As Chris and I try to find my mini Mag Lite, we gave up and decided to hang out at her parents’ house for a little while. We had to drop off a few things, anyways, so it wasn’t a bad idea. So, it was off to the future-in-laws’ house for us, then off to the Madrigal Dinner, which was pretty good yet again There was one good thing about this power outage: I was glad I bought webspace at GeekHosting.com. This was especially good since I just upgraded from the Mini Geek to the Mega Geek. Yay affordable web hosting!
