The end of my three-day bachelorhood ended Saturday at 3pm when Scott and I went to pickup Chris from HEHS. It’s back to normal here in the house, if you can call it that. Mel’s doing homework, I’m still in the process of unpacking and cleaning out my office downstairs, and Scott and I are trying to figure out how to best deal with my frozen hose (black rubber tubing, not cold hookers).
After spending about an hour trying to drain a little water from the hot tub while I was helping Grant setup a blog on my site, Scott finally got a little help from me. Unfortunately, my help wasn’t good enough, so we gave up on draining the tub for tonight. We conceeded and let Chris, Jamie, and Lynn use the tub without any male companionship (I never planned on going in tonight, but Scott wanted to). Instead, Scott played Max Payne, Grant played around with his new blog (that sounds so dirty), and I tried to program our garage door opener to recognize both our remote transmitters, as well as the numeric keypad. Again Scott and I failed at our tasks: Scott never completed the level we are currently stuck on, and I could only get the garage door opener to recognize either the keypad or the remotes (I chose the remotes).
But for now, it’s time to get my body back into a normal sleep schedule so that I don’t sleep in until noon tomorrow.
