So, I’ve finally decided to take the plunge and try to get myself certified in Novell NetWare 6. I just bought Novell’s CNA Study Guide for NetWare 6, and I’m currently installing the 3-user evaluation software on a server here at home. I debated about whether to install the 3-user eval CD that came with the book or the DVD that came with the Linux Technical Resource Kit I ordered over the summer. I decided on the eval CD with the book because then I can quickly follow along with the text I’m reading, rather than having to map the DOS server information I was reading to the Linux server information I was seeing. Perhaps I will play with the Linux version soon; we’ll see. Well, I should get back to the installation. I’ll try to remember to post about my experience.

I signed up with geekhosting last night and I haven’t been able to get in contact with anyone…Do you have a phone number for them? What do you think about their service…? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Since the beginning of August, I have also had trouble contacting GeekHosting regarding a couple of issues, one having to do with a client looking for a web host and the other a personal matter. In the past week, someone finally got a hold of my client and activated her account. Unfortunately, it has been a week and her domain (goldenapplesi4.org) does not yet point to her IP address at GeekHosting. She registered her domain through GeekHosting, which is why this is surprising to me. As for my personal matter, nobody has yet to contact me since the original reply to my request for an upgrade on ChristinaandMark.com to the MegaGeek hosting plan. I was told I would be charged on August 11th, and that my upgrade should take place later that evening. It has been three weeks and I have yet to see the charge on my credit card, let alone the much needed upgrade in space I requested.
So, no, I do not have a phone number, but you can probably find one on their website. As for the service, up until this past August, everything was going great. They used to respond to any inquiries within hours, usually resolving any problems right away, including upgrades. I don’t know what happened to change that, and I hope their service returns to its original greatness soon.
