Yesterday, unlike today, I went ahead and woke up at 5:30 in the morning. I got up, took a shower right away, then went downstairs to start my car. I had to warm it up this morning because it was 4° according to the dashboard and frost had made a home all over it during the night. btw, I can’t wait to clean up the garage this year so that I can finally park my car in a garage regularly. It’s ironic strange that my mom had a two car garage and usually only had space for one car in it, but now that she’s got a three car garage, she can fit three and and a half cars in it.
Anyways, the reason I got up so damned early was because I had a CA2 meeting scheduled at SHS yesterday afternoon. My genius idea, which was later OK’d by the boss, was that I would go home after the CA2 meeting instead of driving all the way out to Palatine for two hours and then back out to Schaumburg to go home. To me, it was more an environmental thing, saving gas and spewing fewer emissions
Not very long into the morning, I got a call from the new Director cancelling the meeting. One of the coordinators was sick, and with finals this week, us CA2s were needed around our buildings anyways. And, as it turned out later that day, I didn’t get to go home early. I didn’t leave until 4:45 because I was helping someone, and I rarely even attempt to leave someone hanging when I’m helping them, if ever.
The good news is that I was able to stop by the bank, stop by Portillo’s, and come home to watch five episodes (ep. 4-8) of Alias - The Complete Third Season. Now, don’t go spoiling anything for me and posting comments about Alias. I haven’t bothered to watch or even record the new season, and I’m not reading the liner notes of the boxed set to get summaries for the episodes. I’ve got my predictions of what is going to happen, and who is going to turn out to be evil. I’ll just have to watch and see whether or not I’m totally wrong.
