I’ve decided to hold off on making a personal bookmarks database and website and try to use del.icio.us. I noticed that I was thinking about this way too much recently, and it was taking me away from other projects on which I wanted to work.
I have also decided to join Flickr to post photos online. You can view four pictures taken in Barcelona at the start of our honeymoon for now. I’m debating purchasing the pro account upgrade so that I can finally have the honeyoom photos posted and viewable. The link to my general site is www.flickr.com/photos/markomni/. Enjoy.

Wow, I just read Kevin Smith’s take on Revenge of the Sith and I can’t wait for May 19th to come. I’m in no way, shape or form what could be considered a "hardcore" Star Wars fan, like a certain Chris W. I know. I accept that fact and I’m OK with it. I went and saw Episode I and II and I was not impressed at all with either of them. The first one was just "blah" to me, and the second was exactly what I expected out of a transition movie - nothing. They were both mildly entertaining, mostly because they helped to extend the SW story, but I just didn’t feel satisfied with either.
After reading Kevin Smith’s review, I appreciated the spoilers (and there are spoilers) because they give me hope that there might be something to enjoy in RotS. So, while I can’t wait for the movie to open, I also probably won’t be seeing it opening day, and definitely won’t be seeing it at midnight.

I was about to close Firefox when I came to my last tab: My Yahoo! On my My Yahoo! page I have the most viewed and most e-mailed pictures block. In that block, I saw three pictures of Katie Holmes. I click on one, being a fan of hers (still haven’t seen The Gift), surprised to see why her pictures are the top three most e-mailed photos: Katie Holmes is dating Tom Cruise! I love the fact that the captions for the photos repeated mention that he’s 42 and she’s 26. Anyways, just thought I’d post this because I just didn’t see that coming. Although, when you think about, Katie Holmes is very similar in body to Penelope Cruz. So, maybe it’s not all that surprising.

I have been trying to get girls to understand this stuff my entire life. Thankfully one of them finally did. Here’s an except from the article titled Why Geeks and Ners Are Worth It…:
12.) They’re rarely if ever possessive. They trust you, so you can be yourself around them. You like to walk around the house in a ratty t-shirt for comfort? He won’t care. He does too! They won’t get pissy if you don’t wear make-up or don’t want to bother primping your hair. If you gain a few pounds, they won’t try their best to make you feel like crap.
13.) They’re usually very well educated. Physics majors and the like. See #5. You won’t have to listen to him blathering on about his car (ok maybe a little), he’ll have loads of other interesting things to talk about. Politics, world events, how much the chicken burgers down at the local place rock, so long as you douse them in hot sauce…

I finally found the digital camera, so I was finally able to take a picture of the treadmill. I thought about taking a wider shot of the entire contraption, but with it surrounded by junk right now, I thought I’d just start with a picture of the console. First off, when you’re standing there in front of it (or running on it), the console looks absolutely huge. Unfortunately, I didn’t put something in the picture to scale the size of the console, but it is bigger than it looks in the picture below. I just finished a 20 minute jog a little while ago, so I’m going to take a shower and get some sleep - hopefully it will cure my tiredness I’ve had for the past few days

digg has been scrolling along on my sidebar for the past day, and I came along this hilarious link. Script kiddies are so funny. Reminds me of the days when I would roam on IRC and would occaisionally get winnuked by some ass(-saltine, a.k.a. ophidian) with nothing better to do. This kid thought he was so cool because he could use some little program he downloaded off the internet to cause a GPF on a Windows box. I’m sure he knew about what was going on when he typed in my IP address into his program. Oh well, boys will be boys.

I was looking at digg.com after being reminded of its existence when listening to The Revenge of the Screen Savers podcast. While at digg, I saw a link to Guess the Google, an interesting little game where you guess the keyword entered into a Google Images search that returns the twenty images you are presented. So far my best score is 333; not quite good enough for the top 10
So, give it a look and see what you can do.
