Chez Ordonez has opened its doors to friends and family. A new feature I’m testing on ask-mark.com is an online menu. In the navigation bar to the right, I have added a calendar that publishes our planned menu, courtesy of an RSS feed from RSSCalendar.com. Once I show Chris how to update the menu, our friends and family will finally know what’s for dinner, and they can let us know ahead of time if they’ll be stopping by to partake in the many feasts yet to come.
As an aside, I’ve also removed the recent trackbacks and the theme switcher from the sidebar. I am finding that this modified Kubrick theme has grown on me, and I see little reason to switch to the others. I am working on a new theme, however, but it’s a slow process because of my other projects (read ADD). If anyone is really dying to have either of these back, just comment or e-mail.
Update: I have since removed the RSS Calendar from the sidebar, having found it to be of little use at the moment.
I cant see your menu and it seemd like easy food..i want to copy your menu so i can make easy food so i dont have to slave over a stove when i get home from the hospital everyday..im tired and exhausted and it takes too much energy to order pizza or chinese food sometimes, but a good easy meal that others recommmend would be nice
I wasn’t able to get Chris to plan a menu for the week given the busy weekend schedule (spring play at HEHS). I’ll update the menu today or tomorrow, and I’ll try to get my recipe database up and running to link the calendar and recipes together.
No menu..im getting hungry, my friend.
