iTunes 4.8 available

Apple has made iTunes 4.8 available. With the upgrade, a new feature that allows the viewing of special "album only" features that you get when purchasing iTunes. I am installing the upgrade now, so I’ll post more if I find anything else spectacular. For example, if iTunes 4.8 breaks my scrubbed tracks.

Flickr

Damn Hersch and his Flickr! I am really liking the slick interface and easy uploading since joining Flickr a few days ago. So much so, in fact, that I just went for the two year upgrade to pro. Maybe I’m just bored since Chris isn’t around, but I tell ya, uploading our honeymoon photos and writing in comments (when I remember what the photo is) is fun stuff. Now I just wish that I had done this a while ago when Hersch said to instead of calling him names. Maybe I could have scored big like him instead of wishing I he gave me one of those freebies he won :-( That’s what I get for fearing change.

I may just start bringing a camera around with me acting like I know what I’m doing just so that I can say I’m using up my Flickr pro service and not letting it go to waste (2GB monthly uploads with unlimited storage!)

Mark says: I suppose linking to the photos in the post would have been a smart idea. Thanks, Becky. Find the pictures here.

Chez Ordonez menu

Chez Ordonez has opened its doors to friends and family. A new feature I’m testing on ask-mark.com is an online menu. In the navigation bar to the right, I have added a calendar that publishes our planned menu, courtesy of an RSS feed from RSSCalendar.com. Once I show Chris how to update the menu, our friends and family will finally know what’s for dinner, and they can let us know ahead of time if they’ll be stopping by to partake in the many feasts yet to come.

As an aside, I’ve also removed the recent trackbacks and the theme switcher from the sidebar. I am finding that this modified Kubrick theme has grown on me, and I see little reason to switch to the others. I am working on a new theme, however, but it’s a slow process because of my other projects (read ADD). If anyone is really dying to have either of these back, just comment or e-mail.

Update: I have since removed the RSS Calendar from the sidebar, having found it to be of little use at the moment.
