Okay, I am doing everything you said. I have updated I-tunes, my Ipod is connected. There is no 'i pod' icon in the bottom right of my screen, there is no 'photos' tab under preferences. Stephen, shut your **** face. You don't know ####.

What the **** am I doing wrong? I NEED PHOTOS ON MY I-POD NOW

Note: Comment sanitized by Mark. Keep the conversation constructive.

I recently purchased a 30GB video iPod to replace my 6GB iPod.

When I connected the new iPod my Windows XP prompted me to update to iTunes 7.0. That is when the problems started.

The error message about 10 seconds into the sync (after connecting the iPod via USB) is "The iPod cannot be updated. The required folder cannot be found".

I spent two hours on the Apple website, with no success. I un-installed iTunes 7, re-downloaded, re-installed, tried to restore the iPod, took the iPod to the Apple store to have them test it (they said the iPod was fine, it was the software).

Nobody can seem to answer the question - what folder is iTunes looking for?
