I have not posted anything about the White Sox and their post season journey to the World Series. I have not really been all that excited about it, despite it being the first time in my life a Chicago team has made it into the World Series, and despite my being more of a White Sox fan than a Cub fan (although I couldn’t say that I dislike either team). I guess that my lack of enthusiasm for such an event is due in most part to my disinterest in baseball, as well as my disbelief that it is actually happening. I’ve been watching Game 2 tonight since the 5th inning, and I’m kind of getting into it. I’m still not jumping up and down, not even after seeing Konerko’s grand slam that temporarily put the Sox in the lead (it just got tied up by a double from Vizcaino).
Look at me. Now I’m typing out players’ names as if I’d been following the sport at all in the past ten years. Ha! As if…
The other bit of news that I’d like to post about is that Rich finally has a blog titled Ravings from a Man in an Old White House. Don’t ask about the title, ’cause I honestly don’t know myself. It’s linked in my Blogroll now. Let’s see if he can keep up with it a little better than Grant has (sorry, Grant, I had to).
And one last thing: if you have a blog at ask-mark.com, and it does not work, it may be due to my making a few more changes to how everything is setup. I’m going to be moving your blogs to a new location on the server, although your URLs should stay the same. I need to do this in order to give you FTP access to your own blog space. I’d e-mail you, but I think this is a little easier for some reason.
Yeeeaaahhh…
