To continue my never-ending praise of del.icio.us, here is a great tip from Kevin Lim: use del.icio.us to post your links daily. I’ve just set it up, and I can’t wait until tomorrow when I can see what it posts for my links. I’m looking forward to trying to tweak it to do my bidding, but that may have to wait. I still have a couple other projects to finish.

Just be aware that if you don’t use del.icio.us enough, you might end up with a daily del.icio.us post with only 1 or 2 links, which might not look pretty. This is why I run my del.icio.us daily link through a wordpress plugin which grabs my del.icio.us RSS feed and tosses new links into my WP drafts. This way once I accumulate enough, then I post it. Kinda manual, but I’m picky about asthetics.

I like making sure my posts look good, as well. The last few posts from digg had to get edited to remove some line breaks and replace them with a paragraph tag. Is the plugin you mentioned the YADD plugin? You’re right about having posts lacking in content if I’m not constantly posting links on del.icio.us. I’d like to avoid that, if possible. Let me know how you take care of your del.icio.us links.
