It rarely happens, and even if it did, we allow people freedom of expression for a reason. Unless there was some vital interest to be served by preventing flag burning, then it should be allowed. I tend to feel that way about many political footballs though, including gay marriage. I've never understood what another persons marriage could possibly have to do with yours, and why the idea of particular types of people marrying is so offensive somehow.
