Wow Mark, how ironic! Last Saturday was my daughter Jessie's 18th birthday. I took her for her first pedicure and manicure. We forgot to bring flipflops for the pedicures, and I had a whole day planned of shopping and lunch, and later that evening I was surprising her with a party with 30 guests at a local restaurant. After we left Walmart, I accidently set off my panic button on my car's keypad. I got in the car, turned the panic button off. When I went to start my car, the indicator lights started going nuts on my dash. I called the dealer too. My thought (and the girl who answered the phone) thought that the car was acting that way because it "thought" for a lack of a better desc. that someone was breaking in. I kept trying to start, and each time something different would start flickering. I call my emergency roadside assistance, order a tow truck to bring it to the dealer (which BTW was right across the street). In the meantime I call Bill, he comes out, gives me a jump, the car starts! Im like great, ok, let me turn off just in case. Try to restart, car is completely dead again. Long story short, I took my old battery up to Autozone, and it tested bad. So $83 later I have a new battery and my car is working great. Thank goodness I didn't have to take it to the dealer as well to get taken for $400. Sorry to hear it cost you so much. We didn't get to go shopping or lunch, but thankfully we made the dinner party.
