One of the things I have been noticing lately is that as I find myself getting involved in more and more things, I have less time to spend on any one of those things. For example, I recently added PartyPoker.net and my.9rules to my list of online activities. Now I have less time to read my RSS feeds on Google Reader and post on my blog. IRL, Chris and I are trying desperately to prep our living room and dining room for the new furniture, which chews into our socializing and relaxing time. At work, I’m working on project after project. I’m starting to realize that I have to start using larger timeslices as I bounce from task to task in order to actually accomplish something in each timeslice.
I wonder sometimes if it’s all for naught. In the grand scheme of things, am I actually accomplishing anything?
By doing many things I think that we are waisting our time. I have too a lot of activities with websites, visiting forums and posting on them etc etc. The best thing to do is to organize, I’ve tried but I fail. I can’t stick to the plan.
