Moviefone has the first trailer of the Wachowski brothers’ Speed Racer. Speed Racer is one of my favorite cartoons, so you can imagine how excited I am to see the movie this May. You can see the trailer in three HD formats (480, 720 and 1080), or just click play below:
The movie has plenty going for it: written and directed by the Wachowski brothers (I will forgive them for the POS that is Matrix Revolutions), Christina Ricci as Trixie, John Goodman as Pops, Matthew Fox as Racer X and Emile Hirsch as Speed! I think I will have to add the English dubbed cartoon DVDs to my wish list (specifically the TV wish list) to help me get even more excited about watching the movie. I love that my childhood is coming back to life in retro movies
