What Would Ron Turner Do?
Check out this last-second play in Division III football, for the win.
Down by 3 with seconds left and having time for only one more play, the Trinity Tigers stood on their own 39 yard line. Playing Millsaps College from Mississippi, the Tigers lateraled the ball 15 times before putting it into the end-zone for the win. I have just one observation…if Ron Turner had been their offensive coordinator, the Tigers would have either downed the ball and eaten the loss on their own 39 or tossed the ball up the field 5 yards, into coverage, for an easy and painless end to another Bears disappointment.
