I just read about this place in Sannomiya that sells American comics. I just might have to make a visit out that way, even though it’s on the way to freaking Kyoto.
Anyway, this summer’s blowout storylines include, 52 of the DCverse and Civil War of 616. I really need to stop checking comic sites because I’m finding more and more things I might want to get. I hate those damn one year later jumps.
Point of interest with 52, even though I haven’t read the end of Infinite Crisis, they brought back some dead heroes. (Not that that should be too shocking.) Among them is Batwoman…drawn by legendary Alex Ross. How do I feel about this?
I’m incredibly amused. It’s like another sign to me that becoming a masked vigilante hero (notice the deliberate lack of “super”) really is a possibility.
I’m going to hell.
ETA: I just checked out the traveling it would take to get to the comic book store and it would cost me about 1000 yen and an hour to get there. Too bad I can’t–who am I kidding…I’ll probably book it out there soon. I am so weak.
