Finally! I had my own dream about meeting Eliza Dushku, the object of my celebrity affection and my biggest celebrity crush.
Pretty much, she and I hung out and watched a bunch of her movies, y’know, the ones I’ve been looking for but apparently don’t carry in Japan. Evidentally, however, the Tsutaya on Dotombori has a copy of The New Guy. Come on, she’s wearing a bandana…for a shirt!
So. Going. To. Hell.
Whoa.
What started out as a fun little story may turn into a webcomic.
My roommate put me in touch with a fellow who is very much serious about comics and is actually trying to get a start up. We met yesterday and I sent him “Lint Wars” as a sample writing. So far, he likes it.
He has just proposed turning it into a comic, which would mean I’d have to write in it more (that oughta make Mike happy)…but at the same time, I’m not sure how I’d feel about this. Perhaps because for the most part, it’s so Jossverse and I don’t want to breach any kind of copyright, etc.
I’ll write more about this later. I just wanted to throw this out there. I’m also trying to settle the new house since I’m moving slowly over this whole weekend. I have things to buy and such and my mind is in a million different places.
But yeah. My story…a comic? I’m a little unsettled by this.
