Whoa.
What started out as a fun little story may turn into a webcomic.
My roommate put me in touch with a fellow who is very much serious about comics and is actually trying to get a start up. We met yesterday and I sent him “Lint Wars” as a sample writing. So far, he likes it.
He has just proposed turning it into a comic, which would mean I’d have to write in it more (that oughta make Mike happy)…but at the same time, I’m not sure how I’d feel about this. Perhaps because for the most part, it’s so Jossverse and I don’t want to breach any kind of copyright, etc.
I’ll write more about this later. I just wanted to throw this out there. I’m also trying to settle the new house since I’m moving slowly over this whole weekend. I have things to buy and such and my mind is in a million different places.
But yeah. My story…a comic? I’m a little unsettled by this.

oOOoOo!
Parody stuff gets away with much by not using the actual names of copyrighted dealies - you can do the same and not fret…
We could be in an actual comic?!? THat’s pretty cool!
Seriously, realize that your writing quicks ass and that you should right LOTS!
I think Chris means your writing kicks ass, which it does. A comic would be cool, and if you had concerns about the specific Joss related stuff, you could honestly change those parts. Really, it’s not like we’ve spent any time staking anything, most of the influence is in dialogue. And don’t they say that good writers borrow from others, great writers steal wholesale…
I\’m glad to hear that an actual comic may come out of your stories, unlike the un-comic I tried to
drawillustrate for my project in high school.
