So, no secret, been really in a tizzy about a girl. I made it kind of a point to not think about any of it today, mostly ‘cuz it would be getting me nowhere, ya know?
But all these weird conversations kept happening around me that just made things a little more interesting than I would have liked. For example, Kate, Jackleen, and Rob having a conversation about crushes right in front of me, how people shouldn’t be ashamed or feel embarassed about such feelings. But the general sentiment was that we all do it because we all have this wicked fear of rejection.
Is that what they call ironic?
Then there was a wacked out conversation at lunch about what women want/see in other women and reading into things and stuff like that. Like what are women who are attracted to other women look for?
Seriously. It was like I couldn’t escape any of this.
I think what made it a cool Saturday was hanging out with Rob, though. We ended up going for ramen in Kita (Kita Tatsumi, aka Nove Central since that’s where the majority of the teachers live) and going back to his apartment. I really hadn’t expected to hang out with anyone tonight, so it was really cool. I like Rob. He’s good people. I like that I can talk to him and stuff. It feels like there’s one more person in my corner offering me that whole support thing.
But looking back on the day, it was one messed up Saturday.
