Al and I have two things in common. First and foremost, we are both far away from home. Second, and the jury is still out about whether this is a good thing or a bad thing — we live with boys. What is it with sinks?
There was something green and goopy in the sink-drain-catcher-majigger. I think it was closely related to Gilette.

This is why it’s nice that Bryan and I have two sinks! Though I think he actually cleans his more than I clean mine.
First of all, woo for the new category!
Second, like Melany, we have separate sinks. In the boy’s bathroom, though, the countertops become covered in blue fuzzies. They look like someone shaved their beard, but the hairs were blue. What is that all about?
@al: Could those blue fuzzies be towel lint? For whatever reason, no matter what color our towels are, it’s always blue lint all over the bathroom. I’m not sure how, but even our yellow towels do that!
It could also be regular hairs with blue shave gel mixed in. That, or you live with smurfs…
OMG, you definitely have to come to Boston and see me! I just got my merit aid/grad asst. position and assigned to a faculty member, and I totally lucked out. The prof who teaches the infamous “deconstructing Buffy” course?? That’s who I got assigned to!!!
