Upgrading John

I love John, don’t get me wrong, he’s a great computer. He’s been very loyal and good.

But I can’t pretend I haven’t been thinking of getting a new l-a-p-t-o-p. I’ve been considering a MacBook. I already got a name picked out — Jack, which for the record, is yet another variation on “John”.

I must ponder this some more.

What sayeth my gentle readers?

(omg first comment ever on your blog)

Dooooooo it. MacBooks are fantastic computers. Everyone has one!

Honestly, while there are a few annoying things about my iBook vs. a PC…the benefits outweight them. So many of the things that annoyed me on my PC are not there on my Mac. And when I borrow Bryan’s laptop because mine is upstairs or something, I get very frustrated about things (it happens at work too). Actually I think Bryan’s laptop is the same model as yours. Get a MacBook…they are fun!

MacBook! I’m a PC-whore because of work, but I would definitely suggest MacBook. Like Melany said, a lot fewer problems using a MacBook because it just works™!

Oh and I forgot to add…much better customer service! When my iBook was on the fritz and I took it to the Apple store, they spent hours diagnosing and fixing the problem (somehow I got a corrupt hard drive file or something but don’t ask me specifics because I’m no computer genius) and didn’t charge a thing!

Does anyone else feel that MacBook sounds like a scottish literary work? “MacDougal, where’d you put my MacBook? Is it on the MacTable, or on the MacShelf??”

    …Sorry….
