It was just Fight Club this past weekend but it was like old times all the same. Since we’re all still poor until Thursday (woo! pay day!), we once again congregated at Mike’s apato for some home cooking. This time, Anna made a soup and hot damn! That’s gooooooood soup! Er, it was wicked tasty.
So Mike, in his infinite wisdom, put a second TV in the living room; one is for watching stuff and the other is for playing video games, which he does simultaneously. I’m surprised Anna hasn’t tried to kill him yet.
We had intentions of watching the newest Heroes (I’m really behind), but while we were eating, Mike threw in a DVD of the Japanese Culture Lab. Who knew the Japanese could have such parodies? Unfortunately, not all of them are translated and there are only two on YouTube. They’re still worth taking a look at, though:
Appropriate Apologies
Eating sushi
The one about origami is pretty cool, and so is the chopsticks one, but those are only on the DVD’s and haven’t been subtitled.
Maybe it’s ‘cuz we live in Japan right now, but we thought this was all pretty hilarious (someone smack Grant).
