Kind of like notified but not.
So for the England thing I have to send all kind of documents and forms and stuffs. In the letter sent to me by the career manager type person, it says I need to have a copy of my passport and copy of my teaching certificate. The paragraph following this particular list, it states that I can have these documents notarized by a solicitor (lawyer). I’d inquired to the two lawyers I know about how to go about doing this, and Rich said he was a notary. Joy!
I had Rich bring his magic stamp to the Settlement this past eve. There was a minor hitch in the wording of the letter and the fact that I had copies of stuffs without official wordings and other such things…in other words, he wasn’t sure if what I had counted towards what the letter was asking for. He suggested writing some legal stuffs on the copies in hopes that it would suffice. It was pretty cool. (Weird. When I wrote “cool” initially, I spelled it “cule”.) I might have penalty of perjury. I think that’s bad. I also had to swear something or another. It was very official like. VoW even took a picture of Rich stamping things.
I was pretty excited about it. Woo!
Random thought: Since I have a category titled “Firefly Sundays”, mayhaps I should start one as “Settlement Tuesdays” since it’s a very regular gathering. Hmmm…
