I’m not going to really categorize this under “On Teaching” ‘cuz if anything, this just amused me to no end.
I just got off the phone with another fellow from England. Of course, for him it’s like 8 AM, but for us, it’s 2 AM. He was incredibly apologetic and apparently either didn’t realize he was calling the U.S., or misread my information sheet.
I told him it was totally fine; I was still awake anyhow.
Very briefly, he told me about a school looking for an English teacher. Two minor details: it’s an all-boys school, and it’s Catholic.
I think at this point, I’m not overly picky. And hey, I come from a Catholic background, so I kind of know the score.
I guess I’ll find out more about it in a few hours.
